스튜디오 이스트×이스트(studio EAST×EAST)는 한국인 아티스트 듀오인 조동호와 최동은이 설립한 아트&디자인 스튜디오입니다.
조각을 기반으로 한 공통의 배경과 목공에 대한 관심에서 2022년 협업을 시작하였으며, 2023년에는 런던으로 거점을 옮겨 국제적인 활동으로 영역을 확장했습니다. 이후 26년부터 다시 서울을 기반으로 작업을 이어가고 있습니다.

스튜디오는 ‘가구적 요소를 가진 예술 조각’을 뜻하는 ‘Furnitural Art (가구적 조각)’를 주요 방향성으로 삼아, 예술의 탈일상적 아우라를 가구의 일상적 익숙함으로 중화시키는 작업에 집중합니다. 일상 공간에서 가구적, 조각적 요소들이 가질 수 있는 의미와 효과를 다각적으로 탐구하여 새로운 공간 경험을 제시하고 있습니다. 이스트×이스트는 동시대 미술과 디자인의 경계를 확장하며, 인간과 공간 사이에 새로운 관계성을 계속해서 탐구합니다.

studio EAST×EAST is an art and design studio founded by the Korean artist duo, DongHo Cho and Dong-eun Choi.
Sharing a background in sculpture and a mutual interest in woodworking, the duo began collaborating in 2022. In 2023, they relocated their practice to London, expanding their activities onto an international stage. Since 2026, they have returned to Seoul, where they continue to develop their work.

The studio’s primary direction is centred around the concept of “Furnitural Art”—artistic sculptures that embody the qualities of furniture. Their practice focuses on softening the non-everyday aura of art through the familiar and functional nature of furniture. By exploring the meanings and effects that sculptural and furniture-like elements can bring into everyday spaces, studio EAST×EAST proposes new spatial experiences. EAST×EAST continually expands the boundaries between contemporary art and design, while investigating new relationships between people and space.
